Jev or rules?
Decide when a model helps and when ordinary code is enough.
Keep exact conditions in code
If a condition is explicit and measurable—an amount over a limit or an account without permission—use code. Rules are easier to audit and deterministic. A model is useful when the input is messy language and the category depends on meaning.
Combine both safely
A common pattern is to check permissions in code, ask Jev for a semantic signal, then apply a threshold in code. Record disagreements and revise the decision boundary as new cases appear.
